In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden group.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
