Celebrity Traitors Finale Accidentally Uploaded A Full Day Early Beyond the UK
Important: This piece avoids reveals related to the series conclusion
This concluding episode of the star-studded version of the popular reality show was mistakenly made available by international broadcasters before its planned UK airing on Thursday night, according to a network statement.
Reports indicate that the finale was viewed by a small number of subscribers of the online platform Crave in the North American country; they could watch it for a short period before it was removed.
The episode being released was not considered a error by the original broadcaster, and a representative for the corporation urged those who think they have discovered the outcome of the series to "refrain from posting potential spoilers".
"We urge anyone who believes they have uncovered the ending of the celebrity edition to keep any information they have to themselves," the statement said.
"We ask you to refrain from posting any spoilers so that the vast audience who have been closely watching every twist and turn of the show can experience the finale this evening."
The Celebrity Traitors is presently the top-rated TV show of the current year, with an average of 12.6 million people across the initial installments.
Fans of the show have been waiting to see whether deceivers the traitors will secure the £100,000 prize for charity or whether faithfuls Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olosuga will be triumphant.
A past champion of the third season of the show commented that "everyone dislikes reveals", which are "joy's enemy".
He said they will be sitting down to watch the final this evening as it airs, with his entire family and "some snacks".
Thursday night's final episode is extended to 70 minutes on the main channel, with an extended edition of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked scheduled to broadcast on BBC Two following the finale.
Host Ed Gamble will be joined by the contestants and the co-host as they respond to the series conclusion.
