The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with local residents in celebration, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Massive Crowds
Local celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Angelenos packing downtown streets, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
