It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to six more T20 titles, and earlier maintained over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a squad that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in the women's 50-over format, is, honestly, a compliment to the pitchers that have represented Australia over the past 50 years.

It is hard for their batsmen to possess a record if not afforded the chance.

Some will argue the case for final game tension. Others can counter with the difficulty that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a loud pro-India audience of 20,000.

"The possibility to go out there and engage in competition with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, sort of got me going," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her swiftest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 balls as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was removed Australia needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the confidence to do that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if we do, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

During the last week a sense they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite being 76-7 at one point.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a match against longtime competitors England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

It was in the semi-finals they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy was absent due to torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the first time at an important competition.
