Vehicles in Germany's Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities mentioned they were alerted by a resident who found a car in Hanau marked with reddish fluid

Approximately fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human blood in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Cars, building surfaces and mailboxes were defaced, in some cases with Nazi symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Officers report they were alerted during the night on Wednesday night, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish liquid.

The substance had been placed in the shape of a swastika, they stated.

Police then located multiple other marked cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under laws banning the public display of symbols from the Nazi era.

Officials say early analysis show the fluid was most likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; authorities are not yet cognizant of any injuries in association with the occurrence," they added.

Local authorities said they were attempting "to unravel the incident" and have appealed to the community for information.

A high-ranking official said the incident made him speechless and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This event hits the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing attack five years ago," he stated on social media, recalling the murder of nine victims by a shooter aiming at residents of migrant background in February 2020.
